Gianluca Lattuada
“The energy of dreams is the rebellion of the self against the void, a symbol that dissolves and is infinitely reborn. Through my works, whether paintings or films, I seek to capture that energy, just as the camera captures light. Sometimes the result leans more toward the figurative or narrative; other times, it transforms into pure emotion or concept.”
Gianluca Lattuada is a visual artist, writer, actor, screenwriter and director from Italy, currently residing in Madrid, Spain. His work as a painter has been showcased in exhibitions across Italy, Spain, UK and Mexico, and has been published in international art books and magazines. Among his institutional exhibitions, he had a solo show at the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya (Yucatán, Mexico, 2023), and one of his works was included in the permanent collection of the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Paolo Pini – MAPP (Milan, Italy, 2024). As a screenwriter and director, he wrote and directed Hermitage (2024), The Cake (2025), Who Loved Ibiza (2025). In 2015, he published a poetry book titled “Cleopatra si uccide” and, over the years, has been a winner and finalist in several literary competitions.
