Misha Waks is an artist whose work combines art and activism, exploring social, ecological, and human rights issues. His series Obscured Organism focuses on young men made invisible by environments of violence, poverty, and systemic neglect, using covered faces, blank expressions, and minimal compositions to reflect erasure and anonymity.

Working in acrylic and spray paint, Waks merges traditional painterly techniques with urban visual language, emphasizing body and gesture against stark backgrounds to convey isolation, survival, and alienation.
